Paul Lockhart
Self taught metal sculptor, Paul Lockhart, has been commissioned for large works all over Maryland. His sculptures are permanent fixtures in Ocean City, Environmental Centres and several industrial and public parks. Paul also creates work specifically for the home decor. His smaller pieces bring art into the home in the form of tables, wall screens and wall art. Most of his work celebrates the beauty of the Eastern Shore.
His technique called “direct metal sculpture” employs a combination of welding, forging & fabricating. He turns steel, iron, bronze & copper into tables, wall art, lawn ornaments & large water-related scenes for home, parks & businesses.
